Areas of Practice:

Jasmine Yasar McCormick represents and advises private businesses and public entities in a wide variety of matters, including commercial disputes, civil rights issues, and employment matters (e.g. claims of discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, whistleblowing). Jasmine also has extensive experience enforcing and defending restrictive covenants, including non-compete, non-solicitation, and non-disclosure agreements.

Jasmine represents clients before the state and federal courts, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; the Missouri Commission on Human Rights, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the American Arbitration Association, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s arbitration forum, and the Missouri Administrative Hearing Commission.

In law school, Jasmine interned in the Litigation Division of the Missouri Attorney General’s Office and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Jasmine also acted as a mediator for the Better Business Bureau and served as a Staff Editor for the Jurisprudence Law Review.

Outside of the office, Jasmine serves on the Board of New Covenant Legal Services and the Committee for Young Lives, a ministry for teen mothers in the City of St. Louis.
