Title IX Training for Investigators and Decision Makers

3 Hours / $250 Per Attendee (9 am – 12 pm)

This comprehensive, scenario-based training is designed for individuals serving as Investigators or Decision-Makers within a school district. Participants will explore their specific roles in the formal Title IX complaint process through practical exercises and small group discussions. Topics include best practices for engaging with complainants and respondents, conducting witness interviews, gathering and evaluating evidence, and preparing investigative and final reports.

The session also covers “gate-keeper” responsibilities, determinations of responsibility, and decisions on questions of relevance. Participants will learn to apply appropriate remedies, corrective actions, and disciplinary measures in compliance with Title IX, ensuring fair and thorough outcomes at both the initial determination and appeal stages.
